After launch, the monthly subscription keeps your site online and up to date, and we make changes whenever you need them. It is optional and billed each month.

What affects the price
The price depends on the number of pages and languages, the features (booking, payment, customer area), any connections to your existing tools and how much work the content needs. A site whose text and photos are ready moves faster than one where everything still has to be written.
The starting price of each package is for a simple site in that category. You get your exact price in writing after the brief, before any work starts, and it only changes if your request changes.
What is always included
Every package includes a design made for you, with no off-the-shelf template, a site designed for phones first, and the launch on your own domain. The code, the domain name and the logins belong to you.
VAT
Our prices are for businesses, the self-employed and non-profits, and are shown excluding VAT. For a client based in Belgium, Belgian VAT at 21% is added.
What about a mobile app?
A mobile app is priced case by case, based on its screens, user accounts, payments and server. The price is agreed in writing after a short brief, before the first line of code.

At Kōten Studio, a custom brochure website costs from €490 excl. VAT, including the design, a layout that works on phones, a contact form and the launch. The exact price depends on the number of pages, and you get it before we start.
Are there any monthly costs?
There are monthly costs only if you choose the monthly subscription, which is optional. At €49 excl. VAT per month, it covers hosting, the domain name, backups, updates and small changes. You can also host the site yourself: it belongs to you.
Can the price change during the project?
No, the price does not change as long as what you ask for does not change. The price agreed in writing covers the scope described in the proposal. If you add something along the way, you get a quote for the extra work before it starts.
Why choose a custom site rather than Wix or WordPress?
A custom site is faster, has no plugins to maintain and does not depend on a subscription to a platform. If your budget is very tight and your needs are very simple, a tool like Wix may be enough, and we will tell you so.
