Why it exists
Business introductions live in messages, phone calls and people's memories. Who introduced whom, on what terms, and whether it was paid: over time, each side remembers it differently.
Disagreements are almost never about the introduction itself. They happen because nobody recorded it in one shared place.
What we built
The app has two sides. The person who brings in business logs a lead and follows what happens to it. The company receives it, moves it forward and marks it as settled.
The commission is agreed and recorded when the lead is created, so both sides read the same entry instead of their own notes. Apportia records what the two parties agreed. It is not legal advice.
How we worked
The hard part is keeping one record accurate while two people look at it, each from their own side. So the lead itself is the record, with the status and the commission attached to it, rather than each side keeping its own copy.
The first version is deliberately limited to the essentials: submit, track, settle. Small updates let us check the flow with real users before adding anything.
Where it stands
Apportia is available on the App Store and Google Play, and keeps evolving. The site is live at apportia.fr.
It is one of our own products, built and run in-house like the others.
Built with
- Flutter
- Next.js
Apportia is built with Flutter, so one app covers iPhone and Android from the start. Both sides of an introduction work from their phones, so here an app is more useful than a website. And a single build keeps the two views of the same record consistent, instead of letting them drift apart in two separate apps.
